With box plots, the data is set into quantiles that show the
highest values, lowest, and the median value in the middle. Box plots are also
helpful in looking at whether or not a data set has outliers that may need to
be thrown out. The length of the boxes and the "whiskers" attached to
them give us information about the data set. These can be helpful when we need
too look at a data set distribution as a whole.
